3. When does Talita collect personal data?
Talita helps women out of prostitution, pornography and human trafficking for sexual exploitation and into a new life. We do this primarily through prevention, outreach and support. To do this, Talita Sweden is highly dependent on donations by private individuals and companies. Our donors and supporters are therefore extremely important to us.

Talita Sweden may collect your personal data for the following reasons:

Talita Sweden may also collect personal data when you apply for a job, internship, volunteer position or to be a member on Talita's board. 

Personal data may also be collected if necessary to (a) comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforcement request; (b) safeguard Talita Sweden's legal interests, or (c) detect, prevent or otherwise observe fraud, security or technical issues. 

4. What information do we collect?
The personal data that we may primarily deal are names, personal identification numbers and contact details such as telephone numbers, address and e-mail address. When you donate or order something from Talita Sweden, information about the transaction (amount, time, type of transaction and any goods) can be processed. Account numbers are only saved for those who wish to pay by direct debit. 

As a donor, your social security number is obtained from SPAR, which is a publicly available registry. For gifts via Swish and sms, your postal address may also be obtained. Your address information is regularly updated from the same registry, during the time we maintain your data. 

When you apply for a job, or if you want to become a volunteer at Talita Sweden, information about your qualifications can also be collected. In order for you to be able to work, do an internship or become a volunteer, you will need submit a criminal record check from the police. 

Talita Sweden saves this information for as long as necessary to perform the service you have requested or for which you have given your approval. Talita Sweden may save the data longer if we must do so by law or to monitor our legal interests, for example if there is a legal process. Your personal data may be saved for up to 36 months after Talita Sweden has taken note of them or you have given your latest donation.

5. What do we use the data for (our purposes)?
The personal data that Talita Sweden collects may be registered in a database. The personal data is used for the following purposes:

Donor service, updating och marketing
The personal data you provide uses Talita Sweden to administer ordered services and products and to keep your own statistics. The information may also be used for information and marketing purposes - for example communication in order to ask if you would like to give a new donation to Talita Sweden's operations, follow-up and develop Talita Sweden's operations, to monitor Talita Sweden's rights, as well as to analyze the purchases you make and the donations you give for marketing purposes in terms of transactions. 

Your information may be used for sending out information about our organization and requests for donations by phone, mail, e-mail or SMS until you object to being contacted by us for this purpose.

In order to conduct our operations, Talita Sweden may use personal data in our daily operations, for example to be able to maintain contact with those who contacted us or to contact you who work in our area of ​​activity, draw up minutes from meetings, as reference in invoices and similar treatment.

There should be a legal basis for all processing of personal data. Talita Sweden uses the following grounds to support its treatment of personal data.
